Week 6 – 7: Tuesday – Wed June 1 – 10, 2015 (Day 38 – 46) – Sleeping Monk, Finishing Ford Campaign and “Found Sound” Song Ideas

1. Get your 35th – 45th personal blog up and posted. The student’s writings for the remainder of the course will be based on all of the four “Creative Word, Creative Experiment, Daily Dose and Daily Action” sections from the Daily Meds workbook (PDF fine found under the tab “The Workbook” at https://musicaldailymeds.wordpress.com). Students are to write on ALL four sections. These 45 personal blogs need to be roughly a half a page long (100 words).

2. Record 1 recording/video for each day before next class using the phone and/or recording software you have. The recordings the students do for the remainder of the course will be based on the “Creative Word and/or Creative Experiment” sections from the Daily Meds workbook (found under the tab “The Workbook” at https://musicaldailymeds.wordpress.com). Also remember to build your “Sonic Tool Kit” composed from the “Six Families of Sound” with these daily create recordings https://introtoaudio.wordpress.com/sonic-arts-breakdown/). 3. Turn in your Ford Ideas and Present your “Ford Marketing Campaign”. Also be ready to present your final EP’s  on Thursday of next week (JULIA only: Electroacoustic 4 track EP. NAT only: 4 Track Ep).

The following three assignments are due for tomorrow (May 20). The Following A, B, C and D sections are reminders of what is due and what the extra homework outside of the “Daily Meds” is: 

A. Using your “Sonic Tool Kits” in your Song for the Ford Campaign.

B. Continue to create Ford Ideas to present. This includes “Vine” videos.

C. Continue to work on the Daniel Lanois “Flesh and Machine” song traced and roughed out.

D. Remix the Peter Harper song and or use pieces of the Peter Harper song in your Ford Campaign.
