The following three assignments are due for tomorrow (May 8). Please turn in all three assignments in one post on the students WordPress Account first, then Musical Daily Meds Site (Second in written form not a link) under the student’s “Post Area” and finally the Intro to Audio Class Blog last. Copy and Paste the main assignment page the student creates link under this post in the “Leave a Reply” section with the student’s name, time, week, day, date, and topic title at the beginning of the post (Example: John Doe, 11:25pm, Week 1 Day 3 April 28, Understanding the DAW). Remember you can link all assignment themes to the “Daily Meds Topic” of choice to help aid in finding a source of inspiration that is best for your recording and video needs. The Daily Meds Workbook can be found at (https://musicaldailymeds.wordpress.com/the-workbook/).

1. Get your 11th – 14th personal blog up and posted. The students writings for the remainder of the course will be based on all four sections “Creative Word, Creative Experiment, Daily Dose and Daily Action” sections from the Daily Meds workbook (found under the tab “The Workbook” at https://musicaldailymeds.wordpress.com). Students are to write on ALL four sections. These 30 personal blogs need to be roughly a half a page long (100 words). The main objective in doing these blogs is getting the students thinking more creatively around audio creation and in deeper sonic levels in the students daily lives. The more you blog, the deeper you will get and in turn the better your ears will become.

The recordings the students do for the remainder of the course will be based on the “Creative Word and/or Creative Experiment” sections from the Daily Meds workbook (found under the tab “The Workbook” at https://musicaldailymeds.wordpress.com). Also remember to build your “Sonic Tool Kit” composed from the “Six Families of Sound” with these daily create recordings https://introtoaudio.wordpress.com/sonic-arts-breakdown/). Also post your recording to your Soundcloud account, then that Soundcloud link to your WordPress blog account and finally to the class WordPress blog under this post in the “leave a comment” section. Please label all recordings in Soundcloud and WordPress with time, date and topic.
